On September 11, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board participated in the “MICE4U” event held in Moscow, Russia, to showcase Azerbaijan's business tourism potential.

The primary goal of participation was to position Azerbaijan as a leading business event destination on the global stage, establish partnerships, and expand promotional efforts.

During B2B meetings with Russia’s top business tourism specialists and agencies, participants were introduced to Azerbaijan’s infrastructure for hosting business events and the country's overall tourism potential.

Notably, from January to August 2024, a total of 501,417 Russian visitors traveled to Azerbaijan, marking a more than 18% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
